The equivalent of one year of experience in the class of Associate Engineer, or in an equivalent or higher engineering class in the Alameda County classified service. (Non-classified includes District Attorney's Office, Hospital Authority, and the Consolidated Courts.)
Or II
Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in civil engineering.
AND
The equivalent of two years of professional engineering experience subsequent to becoming a Registered Civil Engineer.
Or III
The equivalent of four years of progressively responsible, full-time professional civil engineering experience, at least two years of which were in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
